” the world is getting smaller”. This simply means that the world is connected in too many ways. So i can speak to a person in Japan for instance. It is just another way of saying that everyone is much more close or there is more proximity in the world due to the new and various forms of technology. Also because most people know how to use all of these versitile forms of technology, everyone is connected to eachother. This is because the technology involves the communication of many people, so it just shows that if some is millions of kilometeres away technology and in our case websites can make people feel as if they are as close as ever. Webistes are aslo handy because most are public and open to anyone, meaning people around the world can view our websites and learn about various things.

•March 26, 2009 • Leave a CommentIn todays lesson we once again concentrted on our group website, we were introduced to this new way of portraying our understanding of our website. It was known as narrative writing. It had to be filled out by myself and Patrick and asked questions about the context of the website, such as why we are creating it? how are we going to create it? Whats its purpose etc?. It was very effective and myself and Patrick covered further details about the website.
Th next part of the lesson was a bit harder for myself as my website did not turn out as good as i hoped. However i do have the chance to re submit by adding more features to recieve better marks. I should be able to as i picked up a few more tricks.
On Tuesday we have to submit the narrative as well as the web layout to begin our constructin of our website.

•March 25, 2009 • Leave a CommentTodays lesson was a very constructive lesson, because today we were introduced to a new way of presenting our website, before actually creating it. It involved us drawing it out like a story board and indicating were the movements occur with the website, as well as a description on each page. So myself and Patrick constructed this in our first period of our double period, though we actually submitted it in our second period. I actually found this quite useful, as it allowed myself and my group member to communicate more and allocate features, instead of just starting a website and being interrupted along the way. Also in our first period we were marked on our e-portfolio, which conatined our contract, meetings and calendar. I believe that we had done very well in this department as myself and patrick planned it in the long run.
In the second period, Ms West began marking the individual tasks, though she did not have enough time to get around to myself or my partner, even though both of our websites were complete. Also we made some further clarifications on our website and our chosen organisation. We were also reminded that our e-portfolio had to be updated before the next checkpoint, so myself and my partner resumed doing our e-portfolio. We also mucked around with dreamweaver testing out some colours etc, that we could use for our site. This was because Ms West had not yet given us feedback on our web layout.
For tommorows lesson if we get our feedback we will start our production of our website and continue to research its contents and images.

•March 25, 2009 • Leave a CommentTodays lesson was much more confusing, though i think that it was much more benficial for the both of us. Firstly our chosen topic was amended by the cyber fair website, so instead of community organisations, it was now businesses & organisations. So we had to change our preference, which was alright because the new one we selected was suitable to our standards.
Next I had lost my individual website which got me a bit worried, though i started again and made an ever better one. Also i learnt from my peers, how to enhance backround images and fonts, which added to my knowledge in Dreamweaver, so loosing the website actually brought me something. Also my friend Patrick had a few struggles just like me, though we sorted them out between eachother.
Also myself and Patrick made a big decision in selecting the CMRI childrens medical research institute as our vcategory for business and organisations. We also conducted a few points of research, finding out that they are located in westmead and that they try their best to ind cures to disease especially in children.
Myself and Patrick also accelled with our individual taskas making them look flashy as well as filled with information. Now we should be able to focus more on the group component for next lesson. This will obviously be in the lesson were Ms west will mark our individual website
What if the internet was never invented?
•March 18, 2009 • Leave a CommentTo begin the internet is one of greatest forms of communication in our world today. It has a lot of positive and negative points. So if it was never invented it could bring both advantages and disadvantages.
So if the internet was never invented, people or users would not be able to explore the world of information, so people would not be able to find information from various sources, meaning information would be hard to find. Also businesses would have one less way of selling to their markets, which could create some downfall. Mostly however people across nations or neighborhoods, would find it much harder to communicate. This would be because Social networking sites, like face book and bebo would not exist. Also downloading various programs and sources would be impossible, due to having no sources to download from. However for those individuals and families that live in rural areas, their struggles will become much harder as they can not communicate to the outer urban areas, also supplies will be much harder to obtain as there would be no online shopping. So these are some of the negatives that would arise if the internet was never invented.
Some positives however will arise, that some people do stand for. These would be things like, youth not being to access inappropriate sites, there would be a decrease in fraud, people can not post inappropriate sources to the world, information will be more easy to identify as misleading or truthful as there would only be textbooks etc being used as information and finally the identity of youth would be protected from strangers etc.
Finally if the internet never existed, it would be hard to find information. This is because the internet becomes a bigger part of us everyday and i think that we rely on it too much for too many things.
BLOG POST 3 “What current real life story do you think could be used as a parable to teach a specific beatitude for Christian followers?”
•February 23, 2009 • Leave a CommentI believe at the moment one story or event that can teach a beatitude to Christian followers is the Victorian Bushfires. I believe that this story will teach to Christians the beatitude “Happy Those who mourn, they shall be comforted”. I say this because there are many people that have lost their lives, there have been many who lost there loved ones and many families that have lost their homes.
This has left the region very unsafe and people are most scared and upset. This has left the result of many people mourning in catastrophic times. Though how will this teach us Christians? Well the story is obviously freightening for many and for most it will take along time to recover. However the beatitude which once proclaimed states that they will be comforted. This means for us Christians that if we believe and are strong in faith, though we are mourning God will bless us with comfort. This is what i believe will eventually happen in victoria and it will be a lesson learnt for many.

BLOG POST 2 “If you were given the opportunity to write a chapter for the bible what would you write about? What messages would you want your readers to take away?”
•February 23, 2009 • Leave a CommentIn the present day if i were given the oppourtunity to write a chapter in the bible, i would write the chapter about how us, Gods creatures have changed faithfully and how our lifestyles neglect God. This obviously would not be targeted at everyone, though those who have forgotten God or who constantly take him for granted. I think its a great issue of our faith as a lot of Christians don’t respect Gods commands and are not grateful for the things he does for us everyday. I would also in my writings make comparisons to how life use to be and how people were treated. My Chapter will be written to teach people a lesson about how God should be respected, what God constantly does for us and how as humans at times are distracted by materials and many desires.
When people read this chapter in the bible, i would like them to take away, that God should always be a priority of your life and you should never leave him and push him away. I would also like them to notice that nothing is more important than God as he is the creator and has given you your life. I would also like them to be changed at mind, to think differently and reflect on their own actions after they read this, to say if they do what God wants.
